Today, Saturday 25 July 2026, is The National Day of the Cowboy. The 21st year that the fourth Saturday was recognized by an act of Congress to celebrate the heritage of the American cowboy. Championed by the National Day of the Cowboy Organization, its goal was to dedicate a day to honor the American Cowboy who through the values of hard work, loyalty and self reliance shaped the American West.
